Meet the Doctors

Dr. Cynthia Ignacio

Dr. Cynthia Ignacio has a true passion for dentistry and for providing the best care possible to her family of patients. Patient education is the cornerstone of her practice, and she realizes that taking the time to educate her patients about their teeth and gums is crucial to achieving their ultimate dental health. She believes that partnering with her patients in the decision-making process for their teeth is the best way to ensure that they feel good about the dental treatment they receive, and she does her best to ensure they receive care in a comfortable and caring environment.

Her undergraduate studies were completed at the University of California, at Davis, and she found her way to dentistry after a career in the field of Microbiology. After working for two years as a Microbiologist, she realized she wanted to combine her love of microbiology with playing a part in improving the health of others. It was then that she decided that a career in dentistry was the perfect fit of both worlds.

She obtained her dental degree from the esteemed Arthur A. Dugoni, University of Pacific Dental School, San Francisco, in 1999, and has been happily practicing in Dublin, California ever since. She serves patients from all over the Tri-Valley, Bay Area, and sometimes from across the world!

Dr. Cynthia Ignacio is a long-standing active member of the California Dental Association, American Dental Association, Southern Alameda County Dental Society, and various study groups, all of which keep her aware of the most current concepts and techniques in dental medicine.

If you were to ask her what her hobby is, she’d say “dentistry!,” but she also loves to travel, read, and spend time with her husband Eric, and two daughters, Sara and Sophia.

Dr. Alysia Mascolo

Dr. Alysia Mascolo joins our practice with a life-long passion for dentistry. She knows that great care and patient relationships can make a true difference in someone’s life. Her belief in comfortable and excellent care is the shared philosophy that led her to Dublin Family Dental.

Dr. Mascolo’s undergraduate studies were at the University of the Pacific as a dual degree student in biology and law. Fulfilling her childhood dream, she continued on to the University of Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. After completing her dental degree, Dr. Mascolo went on to pursue a Masters in Public Health at Yale University. She regularly gave back to the greater San Francisco area contributing to a variety of dental health events.
